 elements By Jacquelyn

Nestled small town in the Adirondack mountains of Upstate New York I create handmade lampwork glass, marbles, beads and custom jewelry. I also work in a variety of other mediums including metal smithing, fused glass, acrylic and watercolor painting to wood burning and am constantly exploring new things that "lights my fire".  As for formal education I attended MWPratt and received Fine Arts degree and also BA in Psychology from SUNY Poly. Both provided me with a exceptional foundation for my passions to grow. During my last semester at SUNY Poly, I serendipitously stumbled upon the art of glassblowing and began creating different critters inspired from Adirondacks, but the frog with big eyes and sparkling personality seemed to stick. The last 18 years has had its ups and downs but creating art and sharing my passion is what has held me together and given me purpose. I'm unbelievably grateful for the continued support friends, family and most of all customers. Thank you again and looking forward to sharing my creations with you.

My friend Jackie recently asked for clients to send photos of them modeling her work for inclusion on her upcoming website. In so doing it occurred to me that perhaps I have not shouted loudly enough from the rooftops how wonderful this woman is. So I'm sharing here as well. Jackie is the person who gave me my first lesson in glass flame working all those many years ago. Here I am attempting to "model" one of my favorite pieces I bought from her. I love her work. She is also an amazing metalsmith and all around artist (see the raccoon painting she did on a real leaf that is also proudly displayed in our home). Jackie makes her living as a craftswoman and artist and sells her work under the business name of Elements by Jacquelyn. I encourage you all to look her up whenever you need a gift for someone (including yourself!). Her prices are very buyer friendly as she sells directly and her work truly reflects her soul. In addition to being a wonderful artist, Jackie is a truly beautiful, kind, generous, inspiring and goofy woman I feel lucky to know and love. I'm looking forward to the days where we might hang out

What can I say, besides “What an incredible and talented artist!” Being a repeat customer I’m constantly impressed with the talent that Jacquelyn possesses. Every year I commission her to make custom unique blown glass ornaments at Christmas time, which makes the perfect gift. To top it off they are all different so you can continue to give someone a new one every year and then your loved ones can have a beautiful collection. I’ve also commission Jacquelyn to paint a one of a kind special birthday picture for a friend. I was over the moon please with the work and the detail was amazing. I highly recommend Jacquelyn as an artist. She is professional and makes the art work more beautiful then you can imagine. This is why I am a repeat customer and will continue to be.

Hi Jacquelyn! They came out perfect, thank you so much. I had a similar pair and lost them somewhere in New Hampshire. My every day go-to, simple and beautiful. Love the packaging and sticker, “Made With Love”. They sure were and it shows. Thanks again! Kim

I’ve purchased many items from Jackie over the years and the quality and beauty of her work speaks volumes. Why would anyone shop from a big box store when there’s amazing local talent like this available? I get compliments on her pieces each and every time I wear them. Not only do i happily give people her information, but i always start by saying “my friend made this”. That’s how she makes everyone feel. Like her friend. I couldn’t recommend anyone more. 5 stars and a thumbs up. ~Kelly B

If you do not purchase from her when you want custom glass and/or jewelry you probably can count your brain cells on one hand???? But you probably want adult, non-snarky, responses.... your work is exceptional, timely, unique and cherished. I will gladly commission you for future wants/needs. ~Brandy D
